Engineering Building

The Texas A&M Engineering Building in Education City is one of the largest and most advanced facilities for engineering education and research in the world. Designed by father-son architect team Legorreta+Legorreta of Mexico City, the building offers scenic architecture and 55,000 square meters of functional space dedicated to supporting research and learning.

His Highness the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned, consort of the emir and chairperson of Qatar Foundation, were guests at a March 2007 celebration to mark the completion of the new building. Classes began in the building in August 2007.

With state-of-the-art technology and unmatched research facilities, the Texas A&M Engineering Building elevates the standard for facilities of its type. Designed to accommodate the growth of the University, the building will be a trendsetter for years to come.
