Howdy Ags!
New Student Orientation provides incoming students with what they will need to get started on their career here at Texas A&M University at Qatar and gives them a chance to learn about the many opportunities available to members of the Aggie community! Since your first year is important to your continued success at TAMUQ, Orientation will acquaint you with student activities and services available to you.
An annual event held in College Station and Doha, Open House is a student involvement fair on the first Thursday of classes to share information about student organizations, and other student programs and services.
At this event, the freshman class of 2008 will be welcomed to our community by students, staff, faculty and administrators as important campus traditions are introduced. Beginning with the processional in academic regalia and concluding with the Alma matter, new Aggies are introduced to the A&M mission, welcomed by campus leaders and receive encouragement from a keynote speaker.
