As part of its mission to reach out to the community in Qatar and disseminate knowledge, the Chemical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University at Qatar has initiated the Doha Engineering & Technology Forum as a symposium series. The first symposium was held in May 2008 on Advanced Process Modeling. From 2009, two one-day symposia are held at TAMUQ per year with each symposium addressing a specific topic of interest to industry and/or regulators in Qatar. This symposium addresses Industrial Energy Efficiency and Greenhouse Gas Emissions.  The event is scheduled to take place 15 March, 2009, in lecture hall 238 of the Texas A&M at Qatar Engineering Building.
