Professor David Bergbreiter, chemistry professor at Texas A&M University, next week will present "Green Chemistry -- a 'New' Approach to Industrial Synthesis." The lecture will focus on the principles of green chemistry and the ways to carry out new and old processes, illustrating developments on ways to produce less chemical waste. Processes to be discussed will be those recognized by the US Environmental Protection Agency. The lecture is scheduled for 1 March beginning at 12 p.m. in lecture hall 144.
