Texas A&M at Qatar to host Muster

4/21/2009

Texas A&M at Qatar next week will host Aggie Muster in Education City. Aggie Muster is a ceremony to honor Aggies who have died in the past year. The ceremony consists of a speaker followed by a roll call for the absent. As the names are read, a friend or family member will answer "here" and a candle is lit to symbolize that while those Aggies are not present in body, they will forever remain in Aggie spirit. Muster is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on 21 April in the pyramid courtyard outside the Texas A&M Engineering Building. Aggies living or working in Doha are invited to attend. A tour of the Texas A&M Engineering Building will also be offered to Aggies new to the area. The building tour will be begin before Muster at 6 p.m.
