Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the 2009 Student Affairs Leadership and Student Achievement celebration scheduled for 7 May. Students will receive Aggie rings and several others will be honored with following awards: Student Organization of the Year, Student Organization Advisor of the Year, Athletics Awards for the basketball and soccer teams, Student Employee of the Year, Buck Weirus Spirit Award, 12th Man Award, Gathright Scholar Award, Quill Awards, Emerging Leader Award and the Richard E. Ewing Award for Excellence in Student Research. The ceremony is scheduled for 7 May, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel.
