The Department of Student Affairs on 18 Oct. will kickoff Gig 'em Week 2009. Several events designed to showcase and celebrate the Aggie spirit, are scheduled including Maroon day, Aggieland Market, a chili cook-off, Ring Day, and Make a Difference day. "The goal of Gig 'em week is to introduce and promote the values of Texas A&M at Qatar," said Rachel White, a student development specialist in the Department of Student Affairs. "We want to expose students to various opportunities for involvement and promote interaction between the faculty, staff and students."
