Development
The goal of philanthropic development at Texas A&M University at Qatar is matching donors and their interests with the University’s priorities. Our donors provide the additional resources that help faculty excel in their fields and students become confident professionals. By donating to the University, donors are helping to develop Qatar’s natural resource, helping faculty and students leave their mark in productive and inventive ways, ensuring a bright future for not only Texas A&M at Qatar, but the region and the world.
Development means creating strong, long-term relationships with the community and industries in Qatar and the region, with Texas A&M seeking our role as a full partner in the advancement of the state of Qatar.
There are many ways to partner with the University, and we strive to bring full value to each relationship.
Giving and Volunteering
Both individuals and corporate partners may engage with Texas A&M, and what is true for corporations can also be said of individuals: Good corporations deal with the challenges of today. Great ones anticipate those that will come tomorrow, thinking strategically and forging relationships with partners who contribute knowledge and insight. We would like to be that partner.
Gifts can support student scholarships, student organizational activities, conferences and seminars, faculty professional activities, and research among other things. Many opportunities come up during the course of the semester requiring non-budgeted funds for a variety of reasons.
Volunteering is another important means of supporting the academic mission at Texas A&M at Qatar. We are consistently on the lookout for individuals with expertise who are willing to speak to classes on behalf of industry or the community on topics as diverse as business, leadership, and the realities of the workplace. Other opportunities exist for mentoring and judging related to our Capstone Senior Design projects, serving on advisory councils, and other interactions with faculty and students.
Further, we are always in need of internship possibilities for students as well as job opportunities for fresh graduates.
If you would care for more information concerning any of these topics or are interested in partnering with Texas A&M at Qatar, please contact
