We strive to provide our students with a high-quality education that will prepare them for a wide range of careers at the forefront of the engineering field. The curriculum is designed to accomplish this by closely integrating cutting-edge basic and applied research with innovative classroom instruction.
Our faculty maintain active research programs in a wide range of areas. In addition, our undergraduate students participate in numerous co-op and internship programs giving them the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real problems in a variety of settings.
TAMUQ academic programs have identical curricula to the main campus in College Station, Texas. Also, graduates receive a Texas A&M University Bachelor of Science degree; again, identical to those issued on the main campus.
Our reputation within the industry is for producing practical engineers with excellent problem-solving ability. Our graduates are well-grounded in science, engineering, business and communications fundamentals.
