Graduation
Applying for Degree
Students planning to graduate at the end of the current semester (Spring 2012) will file an application for degree online and by submitting a supplemental application. You must pay required fees at Texas A&M University at Qatar and not on the website at Howdy. Please do NOT pay any graduation fees online.
The online application for degree is to be done through Howdy.tamu.edu. The supplemental application can be found below.
Deadline for application (both the online and supplemental): Tuesday, 7 February, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. If you are a May 2012 degree candidate and plan to participate in commencement, you will be required to pay the diploma and cap and gown fees.
Commencement attire: All commencement attire are ordered through the Office of Records during the Spring term in preparation for May commencement. Measurements for your gown will be taken when you submit your supplemental application.
Qatar Foundation Convocation: As a December 2011, May 2012 or August 2012 graduate or degree candidate you will be invited to participate in the May 2012 Qatar Foundation Convocation. More information will follow.
Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012. Details will be provided as they become available.
