Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
Not making the grades you want?  Take the LASSI study strategies inventoryto learn more about your study practices and attitudes. TAMUQ students must have the password information provided in emails during March and April, 2006. 

If you are a TAMUQ student, you may email patricia.collins@qatar.tamu.edu to obtain the password information.  Click here for instructions. The assessement will take about 15 minutes to complete and you will be given a 2 page report identifying your scores in each areas and an explanation of your scores. Come by and see Patti Collins to discuss your results and develop strategies for improving your skills.


LASSI Instructional Modules
Becoming A Strategic Learner, LASSI Instructional Modules includes 10 self paced units, based on each scale of the LASSI. If you know your School Number and School Key, then locate the following URL with your web browser:  http://www.lassimodules.com/

This URL will direct you to a web page welcoming you to the LASSI Instructional Modules. You will then need to register with your School Number and Key. After entering this information you will be required to enter an e-mail address and your first and last name into the spaces provided. When you have completed the registration process you will be issued a user name and password. Since you will be asked to enter your user name and password each time you login, it is improtant that you keep a copy in a safe place. 

If you are a currently enrolled TAMUQ student and you do not know your School Number and School Key, then email patricia.collins@qatar.tamu.edu and place LASSI Modules in the subject line. Once you have received the needed registration numbers, return to this page and follow the above instructions.


TAMUQ students are encouraged to utilize Academic Advising for areas ranging from course registration and degree tracking to time management and study skills.
