Although academics are primary, cocurricular involvement is an important part of your college education. Research has shown that a student's involvement in curricular activities can enhance their academic performance and connection to their institution. By becoming involved, you can mature personally, culturally, socially, spiritually and academically. TAMUQ has more than 23 recognized student organizations, and there are a myriad of other ways to become involved in campus life.
