Aggie Life

Texas A&M at Qatar emphasizes development of students’ leadership and civics skills because they are important supplements to students’ in-class learning. Students must be prepared to work in groups and on teams as they will in their careers as practicing engineers, so the University cultivates students’ patience, respect and cooperation with others. When employers see this kind of co-curricular participation on a student’s CV, they know the applicant has organizational skills and real-world experience in management and finance.
