Education City Recreation Center is attached to Qatar Academy Junior School and closest to gate 1A within Education City. A variety of sports and recreation activities are available to all Education City students. There is no fee to use the facilities. The Education City Recreation Center activities/facilities include the following:

• green floor multipurpose gym (marked for a variety of sports)
• wood floor gym (marked for a variety of sports)
• fitness room with exercise bikes, treadmills
• weight room
• outdoor basketball and tennis courts
• grass football field pitch
• aerobics gym with wooden floor
• squash courts (1 court equipped with screening for ladies
• running track and field
• playgrounds
• Olympic swimming pool
• training/splash pool
• changing rooms with lockers
• Ladies only fitness gym

Ladies Only Fitness/Weight Room:               Everyday 6:00 am to 9:30 pm

                                                                   Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Qatar Academy students have priority in the Recreation Center Sunday-Thursday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Reservations
If you would like to use the gyms or courts for team/club practices, please come to the Recreation Facilities to reserve a time. The booking sheets are located in the corridor near the lifeguard office. Please call 482-0517 or 454-0768 to inquire about the reserved "Ladies Only" times.
