Developing quality engineers is but one dimension in the mission of Texas A&M University at Qatar. Our vision is that students, called Aggies, will graduate as individuals of character, competence, integrity, tolerance and vision, committed to a life of service and leadership; capable of making ethical decisions; and prepared to function successfully within a diverse, multicultural and international world. Students learn by doing. In the classroom, that means hands-on training that encourages creative problem solving in real-world situation. Outside the classroom, it means students involve themselves in a wide range of extracurricular activities that encourage them to engage each other and the community at large.
Texas A&M University has a rich tradition of student involvement, service and leadership. The Qatar campus is intent on preserving and enriching this tradition. |
