Texas A&M University at Qatar and Imperial College London invite participants for their upcoming carbon capture workshop. This workshop will give industrial operation/engineering/environmental managers, technical advisors, regulators and other stakeholders a technical overview of the carbon capture technologies currently available; to report on those being developed through pilot phases; and to discuss those at the R&D stage.

In this two-day event, recognized speakers from industry and academia will give a review of their specialties.

The topics to be presented and discussed will include: defining industrial requirements and scale for Carbon Capture, post-combustion problems, alternatives to amine-based capture, and transportation issues.

All presentations and discussion remarks will be written up and published in the Journal: Sustainable Technologies, Systems & Policies, published by the Bloomsbury Press under the authority of the Qatar Foundation. Thus, all participants will have the opportunity to have their contributions published in this archival journal. It is stressed that a contribution will be reviewed by its originator before publication.
