*The Islamic holidays of Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha are very important to our Muslim students, faculty and staff, and often involve a full week of time off for each event.  The TAMUQ academic calendar does not provide for that amount of time off, but individuals are encouraged to use accrued paid leave during these periods.  Supervisors are encouraged to provide liberal approvals for requests during these periods.
