Borrowing Responsibilities

Return of Books
Library users are responsible for returning or renewing library materials by the date indicated on the due date slip or shown in the library catalog. When materials are recalled, users must return the materials by the new due date on the recall notice.  If a recalled book is being returned on or very near the due date, users should return the book directly to a circulation desk.

Damage to Books
If library users notice damage to an item, it is their responsibility to immediately bring the damage to the attention of the Circulation Department (if possible before check out) to avoid being charged. Library users are responsible for the loss or damage of all materials borrowed on their library cards.

Email Notification
All library initiated email correspondence that is produced automatically (such as overdue or billing notices) will be sent to your  email address.  All students, faculties, and staff are responsible for monitoring their email account.
