Dr. Patrick Linke, professor and managing director for QWE, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wahab, associate professor and technical director for QWE, were awarded the Construction Week sustainability initiative award for their work on the Qatar Sustainable Water and Energy Utilization Initiative (QWE).

The goal of the QWE is to address the pressing energy and water issues facing the country. The Construction Week award acknowledges projects and developments that have taken a leading edge in environmental compliance.
