Texas A&M at Qatar hosted its first Research-Industry Partnership Showcase, titled “Research and Industry: Fostering Synergy,” last week at Qatar National Convention Centre. The event promoted dialogue between University researchers and industry representatives on collaboration potentials, mutual interests and shared opportunities for advancing the State of Qatar’s national vision and strategic development goals through research. The daylong showcase included presentations of successful Texas A&M at Qatar – industry collaboration examples, breakout meetings, a poster session and a roundtable brainstorming and recommendation discussion.
