The Petroleum Engineering Program at Texas A&M University Qatar is an indivisible part of the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at our main campus. The Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering is the leading petroleum engineering department in the U.S., with a longstanding #1 ranking among undergraduate programs. With 35 faculty, 729 undergraduates, and about 390 graduate students, the department also has a rapidly expanding research program, with external funding from a wide range of governmental and industry sources. As part of the Dwight Look College of Engineering, the largest engineering program in the U.S., the Department is well positioned to maintain its leadership position in the coming years.
