Electrical and Computer Engineering Program hosts robot competition

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Program hosted the Robo-transporter Challenge 4 Dec. Freshman students in Foundations of Engineering I showcased the robots and designs they made. Syeda Manahil Akhter, Karima Ramadan and Asmahan Al-Kuwari placed first; Osamah Hindi, Laya Roustazadeh and Ahmed Al-Ali placed second; and Abdul Sattar Alkahala, Abdullah Yousuf and Bader Alkhalili placed third.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Program will host the Robo-transporter Challenge 4 Dec. from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in front of the kinesiology room. Freshman engineering students will showcase the robots they made as part of ENGR 111. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend to see the students' designs.
