ASO and SEC to co-host networking event
Published Oct 02, 2013The Academic Services Office and Student Engineers’ Council will co-host the seventh annual Student Networking Event on 8 Oct. Junior and senior students are invited to attend the event to discuss opportunities for summer internships as well as full-time employment with local and regional companies. "The reception format of the networking event fosters maximum interaction between students and representatives of the attending companies," said Shannon McNulty, program coordinator for continuing education and event organizer. "Informal discussions at the networking event often lead to interviews, which ultimately help students to secure offers for sponsorships, internships and employment."
