Bashir invited for research visit to the NetherlandsPublished May 18, 2011
Globalization Studies Institute at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands has invited Dr. Hassan Bashir, assistant professor of political science, to be a visiting professor for summer 2011.
As a representative of the Liberal Arts Program (political science) at Texas A&M University at Qatar, Bashir will be delivering a series of lectures to graduate students on ethics in international affairs and South Asian politics. He will also work on developing research partnerships with Groningen faculty. Bashir will participate in planning sessions at the Center for Research in Ethics and Globalization (REG) to develop a new inter-faculty and international master’s program on religion, media and globalization. Bashir and Dr. Eyad Masad, professor of mechanical engineering, are members of the international advisory board of the REG at Groningen. For information contact firstname.lastname@example.org
