Dr. Tahir Cagin, professor of chemical engineering and materials science at Texas A&M University, on 9 April, will present "First Principles Method in Studying Stress Corrosion Cracking in Metals."
This lecture will focus on stress corrosion cracking in metals, presenting a description of processes leading to these failures and review some predictive methods employed in studying these processes. The lecture is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. in lecture hall 238.
