Continuing Education to offer power electronics short course
Published Nov 14, 2012Texas A&M at Qatar, 19-20 Nov., will conduct a specialized course for engineers involved in the product application, design, development, monitoring and testing of electric drives and power converters. The course, titled "Power Electronics for Industrial Applications" brings together the techniques prevalent in industries today and those currently under development and being researched for industry tomorrow. The course will be conducted by Dr. Haitham Abu-Rub, associate professor for electrical engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar.
