Daripa hosts workshop on enhanced oil recovery
Published Aug 07, 2013Dr. Prabir Daripa, associate professor of mathematics at Texas A&M University, in collaboration with Dr. Mohamed Elgindy, professor mathematics at Texas A&M at Qatar, recently hosted "Enhanced Oil Recovery and Porous Media Flows." This workshop focused on development, evaluation and implementation of efficient enhanced oil recovery. It also provided a platform for current state enhanced oil recovery techniques as well as future directions of this specialized area.
