Elbashir keynote speaker at 12th World XTL Summit
Published May 27, 2012Dr. Nimir Elbashir, associate professor of chemical engineering, served as a keynote speaker at the 12th World XTL Summit in London recently.
As one of the first academics to participate in the industry-based summit, he highlighted Texas A&M at Qatar's strengths and successes in building collaboration models between academia and industry to develop fundamental and applied research activities. "The talk and models I presented were very well received by industry experts and the summit organizer," Elbashir said. The World XTL Summit is one of the largest industry-based conferences in gas, coal and biomass processing technologies.
