Eleven students volunteer for MADD

Published Feb 18, 2012

Eleven Aggies volunteered in the Education City community service initiative Make a Difference Day (MADD) on 18 Feb.

They joined students from other Education City institutions in volunteering at the Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS) and painting the Stafford Sri Lankan School. Rachel White, program coordinator for student engagement, said, "The idea behind MADD is to take a day to help others and promote positive change in the community. Our goal is that this one day would then encourage students to consider being involved in more long-term service initiatives as well."
