Liberal Arts Speaker Series discusses "American Way of War"
Published Jan 24, 2012Dr. Brian McAllister Linn, Ralph R. Thomas professor of liberal arts at Texas A&M University, will discuss the evolution of US military thought in the context of the idea of an "American Way of War" at the Liberal Arts Speaker Series on 5 Feb.
Linn suggests American military began to view war as primarily an engineering problem in the 1990s. The lecture is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. in lecture hall 238 of the Texas A&M Engineering Building.
