MKOPSC-Qatar conducts short course
Published Jan 29, 2014The Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center-Qatar conducted a continuing education course, Laboratory Safety, for lab technicians and lab engineers from Qatar Petroleum 29 Jan. The course provided an overview of the most common hazards and risks associated to the work in chemical engineering. A laboratory visit was scheduled at the end of the session. The course was offered by Dr. Luc Véchot, assistant professor chemical engineering, and Dr. Tomasz Olweski, associate research scientist, David Onchagwa, assistant manager of HSSE, Khaled Elsaid, laboratory manager, and Tristan White, safety coordinator.
