New Student Conferences begin
Published Aug 17, 2011Texas A&M University at Qatar New Student Conferences begin today, 17 Aug. Conferences prepare incoming students to enter University through meetings with academic advisors and information technology services representatives. Students will have the opportunity to begin building social communities with classmates during the event. Mohammad Al-Ramahi, a Palestinian participant, said, "The Texas A&M traditions give you a sense of belonging to a strong, friendly community that is unique to our University. We are Aggies!" New Student Conferences will be followed by Aggie Orientation, the second stage of welcoming new students and preparing them for University life on 3 - 5 Sept.
