PETE students to tour Dukhan field
Published Nov 07, 2012Petroleum engineering students, on 8 Nov., will visit Dukhan field to study basic elements of geology. Sponsored by Qatar Petroleum (QP), the goal of the trip is to relate elements of geology to the practice of petroleum engineering by studying rock outcrops, modern-day environments of carbonate deposition and cores from actual reservoirs in Dukhan Field. Students will also be given the opportunity to tour QP facilities in Dhukhan.
