Phi Kappa Phi inducts inaugural Texas A&M at Qatar members

Texas A&M University at Qatar hosted its inaugural initiation of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society on 23 April. Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest and largest of all academic disciplines in the United States. Each year Phi Kappa Phi at Texas A&M University in College Station recognizes deserving faculty, staff, and student members from all disciplines across campus. Texas A&M University at Qatar is home to six student chapters of some of the most prestigious honor societies including, Phi Kappa Phi, Tau Beta Pi, engineering honor society; Omega Chi Epsilon, chemical engineering honor society; Eta Kappa Nu electrical engineering honor society; Pi Tau Sigma mechanical engineering honor societ; and Pi Epsilon Tau, petroleum engineering honor society. Over 95 junior and senior students have been inducted as members of these honor societies since 2011. The University at Qatar is hosting a reception in honor of the 2013 initiates on 24 April at the Millennium Hotel in Doha beginning at 7:30 p.m.
