Professionals attend turbomachinery course
Published Mar 25, 2012Texas A&M at Qatar hosted a continuing education course titled "Rotordynamics of Turbomachinery with Case Studies" from 18-20 March.
The course was conducted by Dr. Dara Childs, Leland T. Jordan Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. It included case studies of field experience with real machines and an introduction to vibrations and rotordynamics. Local, regional and international participants attended the course from countries including Qatar, UAE, Japan and Germany.
