Short course teaches process safety management
Published Feb 02, 2014Texas A&M University at Qatar offered a two-day short course in process safety management 2-3 Feb. Common process hazards (flammability, toxicity and exothermic reactions) and accident investigation were covered. The course was conducted by Dr. Luc Vechot, assistant professor of chemical engineering, and Dr. Simon Waldram, managing director of Waldram Consultants Ltd.
