Texas A&M at Qatar to host math olympiad
Published Mar 21, 2011The Office of Student and Community Relations will be hosting the GCC Math Olympiad from 29-31 March.
This three-day event is a math competition for 11th grade students from GCC countries, as well as Iraq and Yemen. Three to five students from each country will visit campus to sit for a math exam which is administered over the course of two days. On 31 March, the top three students will receive a gold, silver or bronze award for their performance with each student receiving a certificate of participation and other prizes during an awards ceremony.
