University collaborates on globalized ethics workshop
Published May 16, 2011Dr. Hassan Bashir, assistant professor of political science, and Dr. Eyad Masad, professor of mechanical engineering, in collaboration with Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies, organized a two-day international workshop on "Professional Ethics in a Globalized World: Towards a Joint East-West Perspective."
The workshop welcomed over 35 scholars from leading institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Oman representing a wide range of academic disciplines.
