University students awarded best poster for work with high school students
Published Jan 28, 2013Mary Katebah, Dema Almasri, Rym Kanes and Hania Albatrni, under the leadership of Dr. Ghada Salama, lecturer of chemical engineering, recently won Best Poster during the inaugural World Congress on Engineering Education. The poster titled, "Developing Engineering Projects for Female High School Students," focused on the team's year long research from a local Qatari female high school. The project was funded by Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) as part of Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF).
