Texas A&M at Qatar and Shell sign three-year memorandum of understanding

Texas A&M at Qatar and Qatar Shell Research & Technology Center on 30 July signed a three-year memorandum of understanding enhancing the already strong relationship between the two institutions.

The memo was signed by Dr. Mark H. Weichold, dean and CEO of Texas A&M at Qatar, and Andy Brown, Qatar Shell’s executive vice president. The agreement solidifies the future collaboration of Shell researchers with Texas A&M at Qatar faculty and students. "Texas A&M at Qatar has enjoyed a tremendous and rewarding partnership with Shell," Weichold said. "We are grateful for Shell’s support of our research and for the mentorship Shell's leaders have given our students." Future collaborations include technical consultation, sponsorship of events and senior projects, research projects, internships, and recruitment.
