Da Motta hosts Texas A&M Ph.D. candidate for research collaboration

Dr. Eduardo Da Motta, visiting associate professor in the Petroleum Engineering Program, is hosting Texas A&M University Ph.D. candidate Robert M. Shirley for a collaborative research project between the two campuses headed by Da Motta and Dr. Ding Zhu, professor in the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M. Shirley will be based in Doha until the end of October working on the project, “Optimization of Carbonate Acidizing with Focus on Qatari Fields." Da Motta's project funding comes from the Proof of Concept and Seed Project Program spearheaded by the assistant dean for research Dr. Hassan S. Bazzi.
