Students attend European Innovation Academy
Published Aug 10, 2017Texas A&M at Qatar mechanical engineering students Saadat Khan '19, Alaa Abdalla '19 and Saad Moazam '18 attended the European Innovation Academy in Turin, Italy. Electrical engineering student Sawsan Shukri '19 attended the concurrent academy in Cascais, Portugal, and also won a cash prize toward the marketing campaign of her team's startup. More than 400 students from 70 countries took part in the entrepreneurship program that pushed students to take an idea to a tech startup in 15 days. The trips were sponsored by Qatar Science & Technology Park.
