ORYX GTL Excellence Seminars in Chemical Engineering hosts BASF vice president

Dr. Mikhail Rodkin, vice president at BASF, gave two talks at Texas A&M at Qatar as part of the ORYX GTL Excellence Seminars in Chemical Engineering series. Rodkin's first lecture, “Catalysis as Enabler for Sustainability—Challenges of Real-world Applications,” focused on the role of catalysts in the chemical industry and its importance in daily life. Also, Rodkin spoke to students in a second talk, "I Want That JOB," which outlined steps to land a job and how to build a successful career. The ORYX GTL Excellence Seminars in Chemical Engineering highlights the key role of chemical engineers and related fields in areas of national interest to Qatar and the wider world.
