Petroleum engineering students visit QP facility

Junior petroleum engineering students visited QP petroleum and core labs in Dukhan 5 Oct. Students were taken on a tour of the labs and core store, and they conducted an exercise on core from one of Qatar's oil and gas fields. Many more visits are planned as a teaching tool to QP operational sites and facilities.

Three Texas A&M at Qatar researchers have been awarded travel grants to showcase their research through the Research Excellence Travel Grant Program. Jibran Khan, Christos Argyropoulos and Mohamed Sufiyan Challiwala are this quarter’s recipients of $1,200 travel grants. Former researcher appointed to faculty at King Faisal University

Former postdoctoral research associate Dr. Sayeed Rushd has been appointed assistant professor at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia.
