ASC hosts fourth annual (Inter)National Day on Writing
Published Nov 01, 2017The Academic Success Collaborative, in partnership with the STEAM Initiative, hosted its fourth annual (Inter)National Day on Writing. The event celebrated writing as a tool for learning and as an integral part of the way people collaborate and process ideas together. Students, faculty and staff partook in activities like five-word poetry, lipograms and palindromes. There was also a local calligrapher at the event showcasing Arabic script. The ASC live tweeted during the event and encourages others to continue to contribute to the larger conversation about writing, using the hashtag #whyiwrite.
