Qaraqe awarded IPTT fund for patent prototype
Published Nov 01, 2017Electrical and computer engineering professor Dr. Khalid Qaraqe, Dr. Mohamed Abdallah from HBKU, Dr. Murat Uysal from Ozyegin University and Dr. Ali Gorcin from Tubitak have been awarded the Technology Development Fund from the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer office at QNRF to implement a prototype for their joint patent, "Relay-assisted Visible Light Communications." The patent is a result of their NPRP 5-980-2-411 project, “Visible Light Communication Systems.” The awarded amount is $130,000 for one year.
