Texas A&M at Qatar hosts continuing education course on pavement design
Published Nov 01, 2017Texas A&M at Qatar hosted participants from the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and a number of companies for a continuing education course on pavement design and construction. The course, "Volumetric Mix Design of Asphalt Mixtures," focused on improving participants' expertise in constructing quality infrastructure, which is an important aspect of Qatar's economic development. The course also included a lab session for aggregate and mixture design and testing. The course was taught by Dr. Eyad Masad, professor in the Mechanical Engineering Program.
