Texas A&M at Qatar unveils Paragons display to recognize partners in QatarPublished Nov 08, 2017
His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada attended a ceremony to unveil a new display at Texas A&M University at Qatar in recognition of the campus’s valued partners in industry and community in Qatar. The “Paragons” on display are Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), ConocoPhillips Qatar, Qatar Computing Research Institute at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Oryx GTL – Qatar, the Qatar Fertiliser Company (QAFCO) and Maersk Oil Qatar. Representing the honored companies as key stakeholders and lead supporters of the Campus were Sheikh Thani bin Thamer Al-Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Oryx GTL; Dr. Mohammed Al-Mulla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, QAPCO; Dr. Hamed Al-Marwani, Chief Administration Officer, QAFCO; Dr. Ahmed Elmagarmid, Executive Director, Qatar Computing Research Institute; and Todd Creeger, President, ConocoPhillips Qatar. Other special guests included members of Texas A&M at Qatar’s Dean’s Development Council: Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdallah Al-Thani, Chief Operating Officer - Engineering & Venture, QatarGas Operating Company Ltd.; Engineer Mohammed Al-Hedfa, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Amiri Diwan; Yousef Al-Jaber, Texas A&M at Qatar Alumnus and Director of Total Research Center Qatar; Yasser Salah Al-Jaidah, Chief Executive Officer, Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool); Andrew Faulkner, Managing Director and Chairman, Qatar Shell Company; Andrew H.
