Qaraqe and Mansoor awarded grant from Sidra Medicine
Published Apr 04, 2018Dr. Khalid Qaraqe and Dr. Bilal Mansoor have been awarded a proof of concept project grant of QR 250,000 by Sidra Medicine to investigate remote monitoring of biodegradable cardiovascular stents. They are the first recipients from Texas A&M Qatar to receive seed funding from Sidra. The project is in partnership with Sidra's pediatric cardiology unit chaired by world-renowned cardiologist Dr. Ziyad Hijazi.
