SPE organizes annual TNO student workshop
Published Apr 04, 2018Petroleum and mechanical engineering students participated in the fifth annual Intelligent Field workshop hosted by TNO. The event, organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers' student chapter at Texas A&M at Qatar, introduced concepts, applications and benefits of incorporating real-time data acquisition and process automation in the management of oil and gas fields. Students also designed an intelligent field of their own based on the concepts they had learned.
